About Us
We are delighted to welcome you to The Samworth Enterprise Academy. The last few years has been a very exciting time for us as we have established ourselves as an ‘all-through school’ for children from 3 years to 16 years. Over the past 4 years we have been growing our age range and in September 2011 we will have all our year groups in school. Throughout the journey we have been committed, determined and passionate about everything we have done in order to make the Academy a success and we are very pleased that we are now seeing the success. Over the coming years we will continue to build on this.
We are committed to working in partnership with parents, the community and other agencies and partners in order to provide the best for our pupils and their families, in order to ensure that our pupils leave school with the best qualifications they can and the aspirations to be successful in future adult life. In order to achieve this we have and need to continue to be inspirational in what we do and what we provide, ensuring that we meet the needs of the Gifted and Talented and those who need additional support.

Our specialism of Business and Enterprise, with a focus on food, is used to develop the skills of our pupils in order to enable them to access future working life. Our focus on food is driven through our strong belief that healthy eating is key to this success.
Our key aim is to provide an innovative and successful school for our local community which not only raises standards for the pupils but also supports the parents, family members and wider community in developing their skills and in long term regeneration of the community.
