The Academy has a comprehensive programme of activities. These include a wide range of sports, arts and skills based learning opportunities. In addition to this there are opportunities for some of our older pupils to study additional GCSEs and for pupils across the school to access revision, booster or intervention classes.
Pupils are encouraged to attend these and to build up their additional learning hours. On an annual basis, in response to the Academy being a ‘Children’s University’ School pupils who have completed more than 30 hours of additional learning are invited to an awards ceremony at the Leicester University, where they are presented with a Bronze, Silver or Gold Award.
